On November, 2014 Bangladesh Computer Council and Kushtia DC office arranged seminar on “Development of Skilled People to grow ICT Industry”. Ashraful Islam, Additional Secretary and Chairman of Bangladesh Computer Council, Emanul Kabir, Director (Training), Bangladesh Computer Council and other freelancers from Meherpur, Kushtia, Chuadanga, Jhinaidah, Rajbari district. Where our honorable Chairman was also invited.

On that seminar our Chairman Munshi Jahangir Zinnat presented some issues of doing freelancing; like:

1. We are facing problem for good payment gateway. Suppose we can try to convince PayPal to allow their service in Bangladesh, if PayPal will not be here, we can convince our Bank, Bank can offer international Debit/Credit with easy conditions for freelancers.

2. Internet connectivity problem, we are getting good internet services from BTCL and Mobile Operators internet prices are too high, solutions BTCL can solve these problems with good technology. We also can send request to mobile operator to make lowest budgeted internet packages for freelancers.

3. Social Acceptance needed for freelancers. They are earning good amount of foreign currency every year but they don’t have good social acceptance, Government can give them that social acceptance where freelancing profession also be accepted to all.

Be noted: Later on Bangladesh Government still try to convince PayPal to allow services on Bangladesh. So this was well, informative and successful seminar.

Unique Soft BD attained ICT Innovation fair 2014, in the part of this occasion, Unique Soft BD arranged Freelancing Workshop at Meherpur Govt. Girls School, Meherpur. On Seminar room on that school we arranged seminar where 50+ young people were there. Our Chairman described basic freelancing concepts, how its work, how we can earn more foreign currencies, future of ICT etc.

Be noted, on May 28, 2014 Meherpur DC arrange ICT Innovation Fair 2014. They arrange every year to find innovation and give motivation to innovator. For the first time Unique Soft BD also attained on that Fair Innovation Fair. We were prepared our stalls with lots of information how to become Freelancer, how Unique Soft BD works, screenshots of our news published on different news media, created video tutorials, arranged projector to show those video tutorials and our video news which published on different television channels. We also arranged Freelancing Workshop where 50+ audiences were there.

This fair was for three days. We tried enough to make senses about freelancing and activities of Unique Soft BD, all of our members enjoyed much on this occasion.
